How do you prefer to watch a show?
Are you someone who likes to watch one episode a week and let it marinate as you look forward to the next episode? Or are you someone who would rather binge a whole season in one day?
Whatever your jam, I got you. Now you can binge your therapy with intensive therapy sessions!
In addition to weekly individual therapy, I offer Therapy Intensives (or Therapy Binging if you will). I offer intensive therapy sessions in person in Huntington, New York or virtually across New York state.
Intensive therapy sessions involve blocking out a number of hours — over the course of a week or over several weeks — during which we will meet out in nature or in the office.
This format gives us the opportunity to dig deep and get to the root of what keeps you stuck in a shorter period of time. If you leave your therapy sessions wishing you had more time or if at the end of the session you’ve often thought, “bummer, we were just getting to the good stuff,” then intensive therapy sessions might be right for you.
I have often wished that I could throw my clock out the window and just keep going, giving the client as much time on that particular day as possible. Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way and not everybody needs or wants to go beyond the traditional therapy hour. But for those who might benefit from it, it is fantastic.
If you decide to give intensive therapy sessions a try, I will give you an estimated number of intensive sessions I recommend and you will be billed for that bundle of time at once. Intensive individual therapy blocks range from 3 hours to 8 hours or more and can be customized based on your particular needs. If you want to keep going after that, we keep going! There is no limit to the number of intensive therapy sessions you can purchase.
